If you have a water pipe that has burst, you are probably not online looking for answers, you are more likely freaking out right now.  However, it is good to know what to do before the pipes burst in the first place.  One sign that pipes may be ready to have trouble is if they make a lot of “shaking” noises when you try and turn on the water.  Another sign that could be really bad is if you are gone from your house for a while and then you see that you have rusty water.  Like any rust, this means that you are losing some of the metal due to oxidation. If you notice these kinds of problems, you should call a Las Vegas plumber to address these issues.  It will make your water more healthy to drink as well as give you more peace of mind knowing a professional plumber has looked at your pipes.

Obviously, if your pipes have burst, you should shut off the valve immediately so more damage isn’t done and if possible vacuum up the water (assuming your vacuum can safely vacuum water – most cannot)
